What to know before you play GTA 6.
A short checklist for launch day: platform, edition, pre-order bonus deadline, storage and what is still unannounced.
1. Pick your platform
GTA VI is on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. If you are waiting for PC, no version has been announced.
2. Choose an edition before November 20
The Vintage Vice City Pack goes to every pre-order and purchase made before November 20, 2026. The Ultimate Edition adds vehicles, weapons, businesses and a month of GTA+ (compare editions).
3. Free up storage
The install size is not announced, so leave plenty of space on your console and pre-order digitally if you want a preload, should one be offered.
4. Know the cast and the map
Read up on Jason, Lucia and the cast and the six regions shown so far.
5. Avoid spoilers and leaks
This index publishes official material and what players find in the released game, never leaked builds. Mission guides and the 100% checklist go live after launch, once findings are reviewed.
